Painting 10 antique milk cans for Cruze Farm Dairy

The finished job. This will go in the new Gay Street Knoxville location.
One of the black cans had a beautiful American eagle emblem on it.
I went online and found the exact same emblem.
Five of them had to be stripped down to the metal. Then I applied a white metal primer. After that a cream colored top coat. I painted the area around the handles first with a brush. That way I wouldn’t cause runs while working in the tight areas with a large spray gun.
One can is from Borden’s. I has letters stamped in both vertically and horizontally.
For whatever reason, the horizontal lettering was stamped twice.
The Borden’s can was the only one with cast handles.
Two cans have Cream City stamped into the handles.
One has this National Dairy tag attached.
One can has Solar in raised letters.
